Comprehensive Digestive Enzymes

Soft stool, upset stomach, excessive flatulence? We encounter these concerns everyday in our pets. Vetrazyme™ contains the three essential enzymes required to promote optimal digestion of the proteins, fats and carbohydrates found in canine and feline diets. The plant-based, high-activity enzymes found in Vetrazyme™ were selected to optimize the breakdown of foods across a broad pH range.

What is Vetrazyme?

Vetrazyme™ is a comprehensive blend of the body's three major groups of enzymes designed to enhance digestion of proteins, fats and carbohydrates in conjunction with the body's' own enzymes. The Vetrazyme™ difference lies in the sources used to obtain these essential enzymes: Dried Aspergillus, Rhizopus, Candida, Saccharomyces and Bacillus subtilus spp. fermentation extracts. These vegetarian enzymes are active and are more pH resistant than animal source enzymes. The enzymes used in Vetrazyme™ were selected to optimize the breakdown of food across a broad pH range throughout the gastrointestinal tract. Often times other animal source enzymes do not survive the acidic conditions of the stomach.

Who Should Use Vetrazyme?

Vetrazyme™ is for any dog or cat whom would benefit from additional supplementation of digestive enzymes. In addition, it is important to consider that as a pet gets older their own enzyme production slows down and overall digestion becomes less effective; therefore supplementation with the digestive enzymes found in Vetrazyme™ will help to support healthy digestive function.
